The Roy Lucas tournament was a touch rugby tournament from 1995 until 2007, when it was turned into an sevens tournament comprised of eight to ten teams from throughout the Northwest. In 2010 the tournament was expanded to 12 teams, and added a women's bracket of 8 teams. The 2011 tournament was particularly special, as it fell on what would have been Roy's 68th birthday. We continue to honor Roy's memory and his legacy with the hard play, camaraderie, and unique spirit that define ORSU Jesters rugby. Tournament Details: The entry fee is $150 for men's sides and $100 for women's sides. To register or with questions, email info@orsu.org to check availability of spots. Checks should be made out to ORSU Rugby and mailed to: 4807 SE Ogden St., Portland, OR 97206. The men's bracket will be 4 pools of 3 sides, and then cup, plate, and bowl championship series. The women's bracket will include two pools of 4 sides, and then cup and plate championships series. Each side is guaranteed at least 3 matches. Kick-off of the first matches will be 11am sharp.
