ORSU Club News ORSU Women Finish Second in the Nation in Division 1 The ORSU Women lost a hard-fought battle to the Atlanta Harlequins, who pulled away to take the D1 National Championship 33-14. The Jesters never stopped working, but tenacious defense by Atlanta earned them the title. Congratulations to our amazing Jesters and Coach Beckett Royce on a fantastic season, and a huge THANK YOU to our many supporters! a history-making effort, the ORSU Women won their quarterfinal and semifinal
matches in Atlanta last weekend to earn a berth to the Division 1 National
Championship Final in Fort Myers, FL on Sun, Nov 11. ORSU will face Atlanta in
the Championship, and the match will be livestreamed

Go Jesters!!! ORSU Women Take Top CR1 Seed to D1 Elite 8 National Playoffs The ORSU Women have finished an undefeated league season and are the champions of the Division 1 CR1 (Competitive Region 1 - Pac Coast from Washington to Arizona)! In two weeks the Jesters travel to Atlanta, GA for Elite 8 National Playoffs with the top CR1 seed, #5 overall. On Saturday, Oct 27, ORSU will face NOVA (Northern Virginia) at 12 pm. Depending on results, on Sunday the Jesters could play either defending national champs Chicago North Shore, or Philadelpha. Wins on both days will send the Jesters to the national final two weeks later, in Fort Myers, FL. Two ORSU Women to Rep USA on Fall 2012 Eagles European TourORSU is extremely proud to announce that two of our women's players, San Juanita Moreno and Sharon Blaney, have been invited on the Fall 2012 USA Eagles' European tour! These phenomenal athletes have worked extremely hard, and we are taking up a collection to support them and reduce their out-of-pocket costs. To donate, please email roster@orsu.org. A huge CONGRATS to Sharon and San Juanita! BabbFest 2012 Registration Open ORSU's annual women's tournament, BabbFest, will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Fuller's Farm. Named in remembrance of extraordinary Jester Lindsay Babb, BabbFest is a celebration of the spirit of rugby - the heart that it takes to hit the pitch for some good hard play and come out grinning at the end of it all. ORSU D2 Men to 2012 Sweet Sixteen After a 10-1 season in league play, the ORSU D2 men advanced through Pacific Northwest and Pacific Coast playoffs to the USA Rugby Sweet Sixteen National Playoffs. The event venue is the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA (San Diego area) and games will be on both Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13. On Saturday the Jesters will take on the G.O.A.T.S. of Omaha at 3:15 pm, and on Sunday will face either Santa Rosa or Albuquerque, depending on results. GO JESTERS!!! Support ORSU Rugby!
